Gift Wrap | Ebruli: Pink

This giftwrap is part of the collection “Ebruli” that we designed for our 11th anniversary. It is based on a one of a kind Ebruli art print we created around 2020. Ebruli is internationally known as marbling and comes from China. However, we know about it through our own culture Turkish, Ottoman, Asian. In Ottoman culture this technique is called ebruli and mostly used in bookbinding. Ottomans developed their unique styles and patterns among which tulip is one of the most significant icons. In our work, we always reflect on the cultures we come from and we experience. This is yet another example of that.
